The inaugural meeting of the Appletongate Museum Friends’ Group takes place tonight at Millgate Museum at 6pm.
It is hoped the group will form a solid and supportive role in the planned creation of a new Civil War museum on Appletongate, as well as Newark and Sherwood District Council’s museum service as a whole.
